How to book my session and what if I need to cancel?

Bookings are made through our website. Just click on the booking link and it will provide you with available sessions, then just choose your slot and make your payment.

Cancellations are available up to 24 hours before your appointment. Contact us through the website or email direct. If you cancel after this timeframe, then unfortunately no refund will be available. However you may be able to move your appointment to an alternative session instead.

If you do not arrive to your appointment, or you are more than 10 minutes late then unfortunately we will not be able to reimburse you.

If you are a few minutes late and the session has already started, unfortunately you will not be able to join that session as you will disturb the people already in the room, but we will do our best to get you into the next available session.

Should we need to cancel your session ourselves, through no fault of your own, then you will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative slot.

What do I need to know before I arrive for my session?
  • Please arrive about 10 minutes before your session is due to begin. If you arrive after the session has begun, as stated in the cancellation section, you will unfortunately not be able to attend that session. However we will try to fit you into the next session that has availability.

  • Please wear comfortable clothing for your session. We try to keep the room temperature as close to ambient as possible.

  • In order to keep the environment as clean and sterile as possible, shoes are not permitted to be worn in the salt room. However, we do ask you to wear socks so that we can provide you with our therapy spa slippers. If you do struggle to easily remove your shoes/put them back on, then we can provide you with over covers for them.

  • We would also request that you do not come directly from the beach as it will be very difficult to remove sand from the Salt spa itself.

  • Whilst we realise it is not the most fashionable accessory, you will also be required to wear a hairnet whist in your therapy session, which we provide. Due to the loose himalayan salt floor covering, loose hair will not be easy to clean or find so a hairnet helps to ensure a clean and sterile environment within the salt room.

  • Our salt room emits negative ions which are great for mood elevating, feeling restful, reducing feelings of anxiety and stress relieving. Due to this, we ask for no positive ions or distractions in the sessions, so phones, smart watches and anything electronic will not be permitted within the salt room itself. It may be that you choose to leave them at home, in your car or, we can provide a designated area for you to store them during your session. If your devices are stored in reception, then we request that they are turned off until you return. Salt Zen does is not responsible for items left in the designated area, and you do so at your own risk.

  • Shoes, coats and any other belongings can be left in a designated area within the reception.

What can I expect during my session?

Once inside the salt room, you can lay down and relax on one of our gorgeous gravity zero recliners. These can be set to a gradient comfortable to you and easily locked into position. Our led lit himalayan salt wall and large salt lamps provide the ambience of a salt cave.

Throughout your session, you can immerse yourself in the gentle sounds of meditation and sound bath music which will be played throughout, whilst the negative ions from the salt wall, salt lamps and the gentle flow of microfine particles of salt from the halogenerator, do all the work for you. Feel free to quietly meditate or even have a little sleep.

Due to this being a restoritive and healing therapy it is very important to have a quiet, calm and healing atmosphere. Therefore we would ask that everyone respects each others time within the salt therapy spa and to please do not move around and refrain from conversations once the session has begun.

How long is my session?

The appointment from arrival takes overall about approx one hour. We ask you arrive approx 10 minutes before the start of your session to allow time for you to remove your shoes and get settled within the spa room and ask any questions. Once the treatment begins, the Salt Therapy sessions run for about 40 minutes each. We would ask that you leave promptly to enable the room to be ventilated and cleaned for the next spa customers. Please remember that if you arrive once the session has begun then you will NOT be able to join that treatment session. This is so as not to disturb the other customers during their session. We will however do our best to fit you in to another session.

*No shows however, will not be entitled to alternative session or reimbursement.*
